NBSA at its meetings held on 18.2.2021 and 28.5.2021, considered the complaint regarding a programme aired on Zee News on 31.3.2020. NBSA noted that there was a delay in filing the complaint with the broadcaster as under Proviso 1 & 2 to Regulation 8.1.6 of the News Broadcasting Standards Regulations, the complaint is required to be filed with the broadcaster within 7 days from the date of the first broadcast.
